Vodai is a character that I will hopefully be drawing a lot more of in the coming years. He's the protagonist of my main Khyreios story-arc. This is a very early design I did back in 2019, the species look a bit different now.

Vodai is a member of a higher-tier race called the Jara, they are a mystical and quiet race revered for their exceptional intellect and transcending connection abilities that allowed them to surpass their technological abilities past most other sentient races. In their early history however they were so ahead of other races they saw themselves as god-like and gained a disfavourable name which has stuck with them for millenia. They are now however a relatively peaceful and distant species who keep to themselves, however they are extremely protective of their home planet Khyreios and other races are rarely allowed entry. There are only two other races that are today equal to the Jara as far as their technological achievements.

Digital painting of Acayth's character Zarydi, although I am not sure if this is very accurate to her true form! Its also my first digital painting on my first real graphics tablet, a Wacom Cintiq, its taking a while to get used to as its quite different from drawing on my small Samsung Galaxy.

One of my main razorwing ocs Vass! Edited the 2021 reference so its more compact and less text. I think the old obsession with huge refs with loads of text are becoming a bit too time-consuming so I think I will stick to this format for now.

Reference sheet of one of my main tiersl (razorwing) characters Vass. She is a tiersl residing in the far arctic mountain range of Embress, and her occupation is as a leading patroller of the whole region. As part of her role she is combat trained, but rarely uses these skills as the range she looks after is relatively peaceful. She is extremely hardy and spends days out in the wilderness, mainly looking for anyone stranded in the snow. She is well-respected and rather famous in the north being one of the most successful patrollers in terms of how many lives shes saved and issues shes solved in the region. As such she is also part of the regions higher council, with some believing she will one day run for a high council position.
