It isn't just "not perfect," it's Ant's worst video on two big fronts. I only tweeted about it in the first place BECAUSE it's unusually sloppy.
Hell, even Ant conceded both of my major criticisms of it in several comments on the video itself. Tons of people agree it's not his best work.

It's in humorously bad faith to say "oh you don't understand the video or what it's trying to say" when I've mentioned several other ones that make similar points much better. You keep moving the goalpost. Does Ant make videos about comics or not? Is the video about adults watching cartoons or not?

I can understand the intention and still think that the video is poorly formulated to sound accusatory. You're very obviously sidestepping the bulk of what I'm saying and assuming a value judgment (that I think Ant is doing this for clout) when I flat out said there was none.

I still fail to understand how Ant is radically different from everyone else. If I make a video with Batman, put Batman in the thumbnail, talk about Batman for 45 minutes, and then spend another 45 minutes talking about capitalism, the video is still about Batman. Batman fans are still the audience

Again the thesis isn't disagreeable, I just think the video is an inelegant discussion of it. Izyzzz made a video about virtual worlds with a pretty similar message and I have no complaints. Hell even Ant's Last Jedi video isn't far off in concept.

And MY point is that dedicating your channel to talking about that same content makes you part of that problem. I don't even disagree entirely. I just think it's bonkers to capitalize on those very adults and then acting like you aren't. Unless the people watching his Marvel content aren't fans?

The crux of the issue in the video was the idea that adults ruin children's media and pushes them out by catering to adult fandoms. Superheroes in general are literally the most successful industry where that's happened.
Nobody cares if the video is also about something else, that's irrelevant.
