Yes, wonderful machines. I have my grandmother’s 98 year old machine. Many are unwanted. They just need some cleaning and oil.

I don’t think enough people know about Bluesky. Maybe under My Feeds you can list some topics that relate to your interests. Feeling like you’re talking to no one is how I feel about Threads. I’m hardly on this platform. Sometimes it’s just good to take a break.

It probably needs a good bit of machine oil to its moving parts to unfreeze it. I have purchased old machines and usually a good oiling unfreezes them. Then a good internal cleaning. It will be useful once you get it fixed.

You’ll love it. Get an old sheet and cut some pieces or some fabric scraps to run it to test and adjust the tension. I recommend using a different color for each tension disk.
