I think tracing it is a good idea! I sewed with a down filled blanket once and first traced out my pattern and then sewed a stay stitch just inside the pattern line, that way I knew it would all stay together and wouldn’t fray and stretch!

I haven’t worked with it actually! With knits I’ve found that my presser foot pressure actually matters a lot. So I would probably experiment with that. If it’s too loose you could skip stitches, but if it’s too firm you could stretch it too much as you sew.

Yes! That would be cool! I was thinking it would be fun at some point to do some mini tutorials for any sewing newbies. Tips and tricks or some of the more difficult construction techniques that come up often! Maybe when more come over?
