At one time I helped some kids make teddy bears for donation. Like benefit quilts only with teddy bears. We had test hugs of the teddy bears to make sure they worked.

Design choice. :) And if you hadn't pointed it out I wouldn't have noticed it.

I agree. It's either:
a) a design choice
b) the wind pushing on part of the sail. :)

The talk was wonderful! I'm so glad I had a chance to attend it. A friend was so inspired that she bought Felt Wee Folk at the Museum and picked up doll making supplies on the way home. (I have them already.)

40 is a lot! It is so interesting to see the same pattern done by different people. There was an exhibit like that at a quilt show I saw recently.
