Trying to summon the bravery required to cut out all the pieces and hope I haven’t made any calculation errors and that the design will look OK. Was short on fabric for my preferred design and have *just* enough for an alternate. Off to draw it out and hope. #jalie2108 #jalie2109

Love to my local library. Did you know you can request books for them to order? And mine puts it on hold for me to get to be the first to take it out. They’ve said yes to most of what I’ve requested!

Finished the actual knitting awhile back but finally got some buttons on this sweater. Fully recycled the wool from my first sweater I ever made that never fit great so nice to have one I can wear again.
Just need to block out the ribbing a bit more. #firesidecardigan #upcycle #knitting

Now that diplomas have been cancelled, imagine if all AB high school students went on strike? I’ve seen that impact before in Quebec and the government did end up reversing some of the cuts planned because the of the movement. The power that would have! Nearly impossible logistics. #teacherstrike

The main issue we’ve been having since buying our EV a couple months ago is now we want two. No one wants to get stuck having to ride in the van. 😝

Was so close to beating my PR for the 5 k today (since getting my garmin watch). All was good until the last 750 m when I ended up running uphill in the wind. It’s coming soon!!

And I’ve accepted that sometimes online colour matching between stores is a fail… blue I knew wasn’t a perfect match but bought anyways, attempted the red as contrast but way to bright… got the neutral in person today and will use that. Good thing I have lots of people in my life to sew up the rest.

Loving how this came out. Got the request to make a Marshmello ( a popular DJ) costume for my 8 year old. Bought a couple of cricut designs and sewed them up today. It’s a bit big, but I’m hoping he’ll wear this beyond Halloween. It is so versatile. #jalie3355 #jaliepatterns #sewingsky
