I use Procreate to draw digitally and really like looking at the little timelapse it gives you, because I get to go "Oh! that one piece of hair I spent half an hour on was fine the 5th time I drew it!"

I do youtube videos/podcasts whenever I'm doodling or don't have to come up with an idea, but if I'm starting a new *drawing* I keep it quiet lol.

Also music but only occasionally cause I turn the volume up too much and it hurts my ears 🧍

5. Uruwashiki Shuuen

Longer one-shot (41 pages) by a BL mangaka.

This one is also BL, but missing the "love" part.

It's set in the zombie apocalypse, which I normally don't like, but the story and art style are super fun.

This type of relationship is really pleasing to me when not romanticized.

4. Sayonara Kodomo-tachi

Another one-shot, this one's 16 pages.

The story is just really, really depressing. Has some gender themes I liked, and each of the 16 pages is put to good use.

I'm sure some won't say it's horror, but it's along the same vein (to me).

3. Atatakai Yuki

10 page one-shot. The art in this one is pretty, too.

The twist is really abrupt, but I liked it nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure it's part of a multi-author anthology, but I couldn't find the name of it, nor the other chapters.

2. Crayfish

9 page one-shot. Really good art.

I like the concept a lot, and the last page feels disgusting. Really very good.

1. Chi no Wadachi

This manga made me feel blessed to be able to read it.

I love how Shuzo Oshimi used the manga format to its full advantage. The art is gorgeous and many scenes are engraved into my brain forever.

It made me depressed in a good way. 10/10 experience.
