Referrals are so important in this job market, but they are also nuanced. Ask the people you know best for referrals, ideally people who can speak to your work professionally. And always thank them even if you don't get the job! ❤️

Private sector resumes are a unique dialect! Especially for federal government employees looking to pivot, make sure you quantify your experience as much as possible.
