Today a symbol of thanksgiving is the cornucopia

By poverty I mean: privation

At its core it is a holiday commemorating a beautiful story of man helping man to survive the first year in a new land after an arduous journey over rough seas. I lean to believe that both groups were very humble. One, cold and starving, welcoming a helping hand; the other humbled by their poverty.

The bit of snow that fell yesterday feels like it’s going to stay. It’s quite cold out but nothing like it will be.

I have not ever looked at Mastadon. My favourite Canadian (and favourite American) journalists are still at X. I’d be lost without reading them. I have an election in ‘25.
