What people don’t see is the steady delivery of Labour manifesto commitments. You can read Full Fact’s analysis here fullfact.org/government-t... then maybe don’t pay too much attention to the media that has a vested interest in running down Labour at every opportunity.

I’ve seen every hot take on the budget from income tax rises, no income tax rises, scrapping bike schemes, heat pump subsidies, cuts to VAT, removing the two child cap, gambling taxes, bank profit taxes, and more. I think I might just wait for the actual budget before calling things chaos.

Mystifying from someone who’s judgement I admire. This febrile nonsense is laughable. Starmer is one year in to a five year programme. Labour is steadily delivering its domestic agenda (largely unreported) and restoring confidence in the UK globally. There have been mistakes but ‘untenable’? Really?
