Only an hour in, but Henry Halfhead is an absolute delight so far.

Very much enjoyed finding this cheeky radio, which says everything you need to know about what inspired its playful sensibilities.

It's been a good long while since I was on mic with my former Brother In PlayStation, which made recording this episode a particular treat.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is very good (and the 15 hours I've spent with it so far have flown by) but it's easily the most irritating sounding game i've played in years.

Finished Switch 2 Welcome Tour this morning.

I get the complaints, but I really liked it! The minigames were probably the worst bit, but it sang as an interactive guide.

It actually reminded me a lot of the Dorling Kindersley interactive PC games from the 90s. Similar vibes!

I'm obsessed with this low quality photo of a cat taken using a Switch 1 Joy-Con.

I had a bad cold this weekend and I ended up blitzing through Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 in two sittings. I *loved* it. It's an inventive match 3 puzzle game that weaves together RPG elements with non-linear storytelling to great effect.

Also? It's funny as hell. It absolutely rips.

Wrapped up Indiana Jones And The Great Circle this morning. A perfect game for me, I think? Everything I could have asked for from a modern, blockbuster adventure.

I loved every second of it, to the point where I'm committed to finding every last note. What a thing!

I led a workshop yesterday for some third-year HCI students at Newcastle Uni! I spoke about our UX process at Greggs, and bribed them into answering questions with doughnuts.

It was fun! My slides had elderly millennial energy that made me feel 100 years old.
