I lead a small maintained school on a tight budget. One of our school development targets is formative assessment. Our first step is developing staff expertise in ensuring that all pupils are engaged in their learning, specifically through use of questioning e.g. cold calling.

The main point of intent was to get people thinking and exploring curriculum. It did that, but now I think you are right, & intent is seen as fixed. I worked with a team a few years back on curriculum who asked if their intent should be put on a website or stuck in books. They were relieved when 1/2
