very early WiP of a piece, was in the mood to draw more detailed, strange creatures. needs alot of work but it's coming along nicely tbh.

a rough sketch of a strange bird-like creature in a teal void. the creature's body is mid-motion, seemingly turning to face something. it has a nub-like tail, and long, strange, bony legs. ending in a 4-toed hand-like feet, the joins along the legs being knobby or otherwise lumpy in some way, especially the hip area where the leg connects. its' arms are far shorter than the legs and notably have only 3 joints and a far more stubby hand, the limbs are far less knobby yet still are still thin and bone-like akin to the legs. one arm is held at a right angle, whereas the other is left limp. its' neck is long, like that of a swan, with a strange head at the top. it has only one eye in the center of the skull, but has 2 mandibles on the side of its' face reaching towards the mouth, and a beak-like structure for said mouth.

been awhile since we made any art, so we decided that something simple to get back in the swing of things was in order. not our greatest work, but such is the way of things.

a monochrome drawing of a strange bird skull being held by strange, tendril-like wires. the piece is mostly pitch-black, save for some glowing dots of various sizes scattered about and the main light source illuminating the skull, harsh shadows being cast by the skull and the tendrils holding it up. the skull is in 2 separate pieces, the jaw being held by a different tendril. the skull is at a 3/4ths view, its' eye socket having an open bottom and a small protrusion near the front of it. the jaw has an open bottom aswell, forming a V-shape, which the tendril that holds it wraps through. the tendrils end in 4-5ish smaller wires coming out of their ends, with the beginning of these tendrils never seen, completely submerged in shadow.

'nother mask design we did, for more world-building stuff. turns out attempting to do something akin to gemstones in pixel art is far more difficult than with more traditional mediums. pretty happy with it regardless.

a pixel art drawing of a strange mask adorned with black orbs that have sigils inscribed within. the mask is a stark white, with a dark, burnt orange stripe going down the middle of the mask. curving around the central orbs all the way to the back. aswell as flowing curves in the same dark orange going around the "eyes" of the mask. a curved shape with a dot adorns the edge of the mask in the same color. a brighter orange decoration goes around the smaller orbs in a branching, almost floral pattern at times. 4 dark orange tassels hang from the sides of the mask, the length of the fabric adorned with small sigil orbs aswell. each ending in 2 hook-like decorations that seem to be metallic. the eyes of the mask are purple-ish blue gemstones, smoothly cut and full of specks of varying different colors. appearing to look more like the night sky than rocks. a shawl of sorts is attached to the mask, it is a washed-out reddish color, appearing to extend far inwards. a decent portion of the front of the shawl is covered in shadow due to the long mask above it. the main, largest sigils on the mask go as follows. 1: an abstract eye shape with a slit pupil surrounded by a 5-pointed, almost crown-like shape with 4 orbs above it, 2 larger orbs sit below the abstract eye. 2: a detailed eye with a rounded pupil and a long teardrop shape extending below it, with a smaller teardrop shape near the bottom. next to the teardrop is a wave-like shape on both sides, parted around the tear, that moved up the side of the orb. another floral design moves to the sides of the eyes, with 4 large orbs near the top, and 2 smaller ones near the sides. 3: a cross-like connecting to the top 'n bottom of the orb with an arch shape, and a diamond-shaped opening near the middle. a floral design is connected to it, appearing to move towards the cross. 4 large orbs sit at diagonals from the center, with 2 smaller ones near the base of the floral designs. a wave-like shape sits in the corners.

damn, finally hit the first milestone. didn't expect fan art to be the thing to finally push us to 50 but we sure aren't complaining.

might draw something to commemorate this..... after taking a break for a few days of course, our shoulder still burns from shading 'n rendering grass lol.

a pixel art sketch of a large, lizard-like creature with a pole-arm next to it. the creature has a strange head, reminiscent of a bearded dragon in shape, with 2 large eyes near the back and 2 smaller ones near the middle of the head. its nose sits ontop of its' head, above the smaller eyes. its' neck is somewhat long, but is currently hunched over hiding its' full length. its arms are massive things, same with its' shoulders, appearing like tree-trunks strapped to its' body. the arms end in a 4-fingered hand with massive hooked claws. the creatures' torso is equally as massive as its' arms, with a minor bit of pudge near its' middle the creatures' legs are bent, leaving the creature in a squatting pose, with its' thighs just as large if not larger than its' arms in width, a foot can be seen below the right leg of the creature, also adorned with vicious hooked claws. the pole-arm infront of the creature stands straight up, stuck into the ground by the blade. the pole part of the weapon is uneven, lumpy, and has a slight curve, as if though a branch had been chosen at random and hastily fastened to the weapon. the head of the weapon appears to be taken from another weapon, or otherwise not made with its' current pole in mind. a tassel hangs from the base of the head, and the blade appears to be designed akin to that of a glaive, but with a serrated edge.

been working on this piece for the past few days, cuz we needed to finally do justice to this character we've been concepting for some time now. only a WiP for now, but it's coming along nicely imo.

a WiP pixel art bust sketch of a human and machine amalgam. the face of the machine looks at an upward angle, and is covered partially by the painful looking appearance of the person it has melded with, also gazing upward. the skin and bone contorts and bends around the circumference of the head of the machine, only one eye in its' now-skeletal looking socket remains intact, the other eye's pupil horrifically bloated and stretched, the iris appearing to have vanished into the pupil. thin, wiry strands of sparse hair protrude from what remains of the scalp. the rest of the body is covered in the same liquid-esqu skin, lumpy and uneven, it stretches and bends across the surface, or otherwise becoming the surface. parts of the skin sag, not held with the same tension as other parts. only portions of the machine can be seen, most notably the pauldron of the right arm and it's connective parts only remain partially uncovered, akin to the head.

a WiP pixel art piece. a broken machine stands in the middle of the image, seemingly bolted to the ground via a stand it's attached to, a majority of its' body is in shadow, with what can be seen being heavily damaged. it lacks arms and instead has wires hanging from the remains of where the arms used to be, the right shoulder seemingly still intact based off of the pauldron still being attached to it, compared to the left which seems to have been torn apart. an eye dangles out of the remains of its' right eye socket, with wires keeping it attached, the other eye can hardly be seen within its' socket, as it is mostly obscured in shadow, with only some light reflecting off of some parts and the lens of it. an unknowable amount of machines can be seen in the foreground, nearly entirely in shadow, with light creeping through some of the broken parts of the metal plating. a cyclopean machine head can be seen on the right of the image.

been awhile since we posted anything here, mostly cuz of artblock really. so here's a WiP of a painting we're working on, since we've recently dropped lined art.

a WiP painting of a strange creature in a dark void the head of the creature is a strange mixture between a bird-esqu beak shape and a lizard head, with the entire head being fleshy. the inside of the mouth lacks both teeth and a tongue, and the eye socket is home to multitudes of glowing spots that resemble different types of eyes. the head appears to be mid-action, like as if though it was attempting to scream or roar at something, with multitudes of nearly-transparent saliva strands fly out of the mouth, many still connected to the strange fleshy beak-mouth of the creature. black vein-like things can be seen around the eye like cracks, aswell as in other places, though much more sparse than the ones that splay out of the eye socket.

a WiP drawing of a humanoid creature. the head of the creature is hunched forward slightly and adorned by a lightly damaged hat, scratches cover parts of its' surface, with holes being a partially rare sight and even some parts of the brim missing at points. the front half of the snout of the creature is missing its' skin, with no trace of any meat, just bone remaining. with the rest of the head and the lower jaw still having their skin, albiet with the upper jaw's skin being ripped and mangled, and what remains of the mouth's skin being pulled into a wide grin. the clothes of the creature are in a much worse state than its' hat, with a significant portion of the upper right of the robe being completely missing, instead hastily fixed with a thin strap of cloth that runs over the shoulder. the right hand rests upon a strange cane-like objects, with the fingers being adorned with hooked claws. the left hand protrudes from the tattered remains of the left sleeve, with the skin near the wrist entirely giving way to bone. the hand, forming a claw-like grasping motion, seems to hold or control some strange floating device, its' exterior plated hap-hazardly and a singular opening covered by a dome of glass-like material.
