🌳 Whilst Scotland has more tree cover than the rest of the UK, just 18% has trees (vs a European average of 37%)
🌳 Only 4% of Scotland is native woodland (50%+ of which is in poor condition)
🌳 Only 1% of our land area has ancient woodland
That's why we protect, restore & create native woodland 🌱 💚
