Foreign students generally pay full tuition, at least at the undergraduate level. That is what pays the freight for Harvard's policy to provide full financial aid for American kids whose parents are below certain income levels. I guess those American kids don't matter.

At this ooint, Trump's "public facade" and dark private personality are merging. This will be a delightful experience.

MAGA sees Medicaid cuts as a legitimate federal cost containment measure, with the billions diverted into tax cuts for the wealthy as a deserved benefit to "job creators". You have to watch Fox News a lot to swallow this nonsense.

GOP hearings attacking President Biden for not evacuating all the Afghan refugees has now been replaced by GOP bureaucrats kicking those that did make it here out of the country. I am sure they will get a warm welcome from the Taliban.

I didn't think Trump would cave to China this quickly, but the TACO stock trade worked! (TACO = Trump Always Chickens Out)

Medicare with 60+ million enrolled would supposedly now be required to negotiate prices... that's a huge market for Pharma. But I read that a similar order died in the courts last time he tried it in 2020.

Exactly! They bash Trump to make some cash on corporate media, while secretly pining for the good ol' days when Ronnie, W and Mitt were their heroes.

That's what happens when a country decides that the wealthy can profit from healthcare.

1. Trump's bungling of COVID was fresh on voters' minds in 2020. Memories are short.
2. In '24, Dems acknowledged inflation but offered little hope. Trump lied and said "prices will go down Day One". Lying works, especially when delivered by a master propagandist.
3.

We still pay taxes to finance massive tax give aways to the richest people on Earth, and to massage the egos of space junkies, kleptocrats and their hangers on. They want our money, and the regime is giving it to them.
