Heck if I know what I’m doing right now
3.5. 12 Angry Men (1957)
Everything I said about the 1997 version, just with different casting and a couple small changes between both

8. Becky Nurse of Salem
Very interesting look into both addiction & the history of the Salem Witch Trials. Really good acting across the cast, and the dialogue was consistently engaging and really hooked me in the second act

7. The Muppet Show w/ Sabrina Carpenter
Very funny pilot and return to form from the Muppets. Haven’t seen much of the original show, but it seems very faithful to said show and has a lot of great gags, and Miss Piggy & Sabrina had a phenomenal dynamic that maid their scenes pure gold

6. Arco
Very visually stunning, and I absolutely loved Mikki’s and the way their character developed, but the plot got a bit messy as it went along, and I kinda wish it was a slice of life-time travel story similar to Mirai, and the comic relief triplets were all very annoying and rarely ever funny

5. Stoner Cats
Found this on YouTube recommendations and thought it was a decent enough indie series. Than I found out you originally needed to pay 800$+ worth of NFTs to watch it and my respect for it immediately took a hit. Thank you random YouTuber for not making the people have to pay for that

4. Entergalactic
Very fun, stylized Romcom that, despite some melodrama around the third act I wasn’t big on, had a couple I just wanted to see get all the good things in their lives. Also the payoff of having the dating app adds all over the movie at the end was amazing

3. 12 Angry Men (1997)
Had an audition for the stage version of this, so I sat down to watch it, get an understanding of the characters, and was blown away by how compelling of a story it ended up being. Stellar movie that makes you feel the weight of everything the longer it goes on

2. Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F
Somewhat of a mixed big. The action animation is pretty good and Frieza feels as ruthless as ever, but it also feels like the first major piece of Dragon Ball media that feels more concerned with making new transformations just for the sake of merch & video game sales

1. Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods
A pretty solid film with one of the most fist bumping fights in Dragon Ball up to that point. Beerus and Whis are excellent new characters to the cast, and it’s all around a fun time for Dragon Ball fans minus the stuff with Kid Trunks & Mai. Super Broly better thou

72. My Hero Academia Season 8
Absolutely incredible final season of anime that gives the original ending its flowers and then some. This reaffirmed to my why this series is my favorite piece of media, and all the blood, sweat and tears poured into it is felt in practically every frame. Plus Ultra!

71. Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone
The first real Dragon Ball movie that sorta sets the presence for what to expect from one; primarily focused on action that takes familiar beats from the main series, but tweaking it enough to be recognizable as its own thing with a cool new villain added on top
December 13, 2025 at 5:20 AM
70. Dragon Ball GT: A Heroes Legacy
A decent little epilogue special to a series I am very negatively mixed on. Goku Jr feels more like Gohan Jr, but his journey to save Pan is compelling enough, and those last 2 scenes are honestly pretty touching and sweet. Definitely not the worst GT has to offer

67, 68 & 69. OG Dragon Ball movies
I don’t feel like making 3 separate posts about these films. They’re all fine but disposable retellings of arcs in the anime with some occasional fun spins and moments, but if you want to check the og series out, you’re better off just checking the og series out

66. Dragon Ball GT
Almost as bad as everyone says it is unfortunately. Final arc is decent and it has good ideas, but the execution lot of the time is awful, the fights and animation are both weaker than the og series & especially Z, and overall the lack of Toriyama’s involvement is very much felt

65. Smiling Friends Season 3
A step up over Season 2 and honestly maybe even season 3. This season made me laugh HARD, it was neat getting some lore about how Smiling Friends got made, and the Schmaloogle episode honestly might be a contender for my favorite episode of the series

64. Annie (Musical)
Yes it’s a bit of a fantasy wish fulfillment show, but it can also be an absolutely delightful show with the right Annie & Right Warbucks like this production, and despite some misses here & there in the soundtrack, the good songs are some of the most iconic in musical theatre

63. Annie (1982)
A decent movie that’s kind of a bad adaptation of the musical. Annie and the villains are very well cast, but the new songs don’t inspire the same feelings as the original songs, most of the changes aren’t that necessary, and it’s surprisingly racist in a way the musical just isn’t

62. Wicked For Good
Falls a bit into sequel trends of having to explain everything from the original movie, even more so than the first, but Glynda and Elphaba’s chemistry is just incredible and the songs were unbelievably well sung. Definitely prefer the first, but this ain’t that bad

61. Seussical the Musical
A fun musical that captures the appeal of Dr. Seuss books pretty well with songs that are way better than they should be, and this version had a very unique vision by having it take place with actual people instead of talking animals and it miraculously just works

60. Marionetta (S1-2)
Absolutely fantastic web comic. Starts off really fun and bizarre at first, but gets unimaginably compelling as it delves into the characters’ uncertainties and regrets. Add some interesting mysteries and world building and you get a true gem of a story. Can’t wait for Season 3

59. Super Mario Galaxy
Still an incredible game all these years later. Admittedly it does feel a bit simple by modern standards and not every galaxy is a winner, but the vibes are unparalleled by 3D Mario standards, the soundtrack is filled with all time greats, and it literally gave us Rosalina cmn

58. Tiny Beautiful Things
Beautiful show that feels so unbelievably true to life, with absolutely incredible performances and direction
November 9, 2025 at 10:53 PM
57. Luigi’s Mansion
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Definitely has some jank by modern standards, and hunting down the Boos can be a total chore, but graphically it holds pretty well for being one of the very first GameCube games, and it’s pretty important in the grand history of Luigi’s character
November 1, 2025 at 3:52 AM
56. Pokémon Legends ZA
A pretty great new Pokémon game. It doesn’t quite have the same scale that made Arceus great, but it has all the trademarks you’ve come to love with Pokémon (great character & designs, fun battle mechanics, stellar music). Definitely worth the wait for Pokémon Z
