I’m sorry that you are struggling & being mislead by the holler to believe local journalists aren’t doing their jobs. I’m a journalist of 17 years I’m at the Capitol in TN almost daily, I can say there is a solid group of journalists who care and are making original reports daily from the Capitol.

I would also suggest following Matt Masters reporting he is with the Williamson Scene/Nashville Scene. There are some very good and actual journalists in the Nashville area. I don’t believe he is on Bluesky yet.

As someone who has been a working journalist for 17 years, and has reported from Ukraine, Hong Kong, Israel/Palestine, J6, and other major events. The Holler is not a journalist. If you pay attention you will find they produce no original reporting.

It is standard procedure for TV News Channels to run live feeds during closed door press briefings (reserved for journalists) so that the public can hear for themselves what is being said.

You are mistaken, WZTV FOX 17 had a live feed going. FOX 17 and WKRN News 2 always have live feeds of the press briefing available to watch on their YouTube page. You know this, and if you actually cared you’d point people to these live feeds.
