The Lotus 38 wasn't an American-built car, but it WAS hugely transformative for the American motorsport scene thanks to its impressive debut win at the 1965 #Indy500 — and part of that is thanks to #NASCAR !

Dad Update: He was discharged from the rehab facility today and we just got home from a follow-up with his neurologist. We're going to have some home help for a while but he is doing better.
