I had the opportunity to attend Lemon Grove's first Pink Power Dash 5K Walk/Run for breast cancer awareness! It was a wonderful event with friendly people and high spirits. I hope to see it again in Lemon Grove next year!

Happy Labor Day! As we celebrate this holiday let's all remember those who struggled before us to provide better work environments & more fair & equitable labor practices for us all. We still have work to do, both in keeping what we have gained & in pressing forward, we can surely do it together.

I'm thrilled to be a part of bringing a new community space to Lemon Grove! It was a labor of love & care for our community where I had the opportunity to design & help build this space. I look forward to the connections, conversations & positive impact that The Neighborhood will have in our city.

Went out and got my hands dirty (literally) with the Busy Bees this morning. We have started revitalizing the Lemon Grove Promenade Park with native flora and will soon be adding murals and informational signs for the plant life to the space! Stay tuned to watch this project take shape!

Over the last couple of days I have had the pleasure of helping to paint a new community meeting space in Lemon Grove! It is my sincere hope that this will be a place of friendship, collaboration, and community support. Exciting things happening in Lemon Grove!

Went on a hike with the San Diego Democrats for Environmental Action today in the Santa Ysabel Open Space Preserve. What a great way to spend a morning with some fine people!

I am super happy to be a part of uplifting our community through the Revitalize Broadway Lemon Grove coalition! Our first major project is soon to be implemented and I can't wait to see the difference that it makes!

It was a beautiful day for Lemon Grove's Arbor & Earth Day celebration! We didn't plant a tree like last year, but our neighbors went out into our community to do litter removal, the City of Lemon Grove gathered feedback for a potential upgrade to Treganza Park, & of course, there was dancing!
