yeah, for some reason it's next to impossible to change the ingame language for some games through the xbox app. I've tried a bunch of times and eventually gave up each time

I've also been getting ai translated shorts a lot now with no way to disable it. I just want the original audio not horrible robotic voices.
For normal YouTube videos you can at least select the audio track, but that option just doesn't exist for shorts

My guy, they literally included it in their highlights for a future patch. No you didn't have uncapped framerates for cutscenes.

Isn't this the exact case where AI is ok to use? It's still a massive energy drain, but it didn't replace creative people in the development team nor is it user facing, it just speeds up dev time (which has become bloated in recent years)

I didn't hear about this before and might be misunderstanding, did they just use placeholder assets made with AI to use during development and replaced it with human made assets in the final release (while missing an instance somewhere)?

Minor Act 3 spoilers (though I try to be as vague as possible):
just got to Act 3. But now I seem to be sort of goal-less. Is the objective you get after going to the overworld for the first time in act 3 as final as it sounds? Am I just supposed to mop up the remaining things in the overworld now?

It's not an RPG, but I'd recommend a Plague Tale (both the first one which is Innocence and the sequel, Requiem). Also Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice is really amazing (I haven't played the sequel to that, but heard it's not as good as the first one)

I wonder how that'll affect Elder Scrolls VI's reception (if it ever releases), if recent Bethesda games are anything to go off, it's not gonna be better than skyrim, so having Oblivion re-release shortly before TESVI (lol) might make the whiplash even more stark.

ngl, hearing about secrets in games and trying them out for yourself without being able to or caring to fact check it is one of my fondest memories of playing games. Games had an air of mystery about them they can't really have anymore

from what I've seen of the game you will be missing out on a lot of stuff if you only play one character. Especially if you choose Yasuke, as he can't freeclimb, so there are sync points you can't reach as him. Naoe is less inhibited, but can't fight as well, so using yasuke is encouraged for combat

I think it's the same as when game companies say "you definitely won't need to play the first game to enjoy the sequel", even if it's important to have played the first game first, because they don't wanna risk alienating potential buyers.

Blue is the regular checkmark, gold is some kind of super verification, I believe it's for big people of public renown and companies (because the blue checkmark has been made worthless) and the silver one is for elected officials. I think.

I really thought after Concord, XDefiant, Avengers, Suicide Squad and uncountable others even the execs would get that it's a lost cause. Surely they get that it's at an extraordinarily high risk of failing and losing millions of dollars.
