It's weird, it's diving into weird heady ideas around human nature, it's got strange, deeply uncomfortable creatures; it's being *specific* and doing something *new* in this universe, using it as a springboard for exciting things, rather than "Hey, remember the movie you love? So do we!"

Genuinely adore it. After Prometheus and especially Covenant went all in on the android front and thematics around that, Romulus was such a disappointment, really being The Franchisification of Alien, a series that had managed (sans AvP) to remain weird and bizarre, and Alien Earth is NOT that

...and, yeah, part of me wonders how many cis people just aren't used to seeing or interacting with trans people have become so from seeing me. People know about me before I know them, at both queer and non-queer gigs, and I like to think I'm helping normalise it just a little bit

I remembering being closeted and seeing a couple trans people at a concert having the TIME of their LIVES, and it gave me so much joy and *hope*. I started being really unapologetic and taking up lots of space at local shows following that, only I overshot and now I'm a fixture of the local scene...

yeah for me it's A New Hope, The Last Jedi, and Andor. Even Rogue One, while good, was still kind of a mess; but Andor takes all of the good shit and then makes like? the tightest, most incredible show out of it?? It's exciting, imaginative, intriguing, meaningful, and just amazing

tbh the interovert/extrovert binary is bullshit anyway 🤷♀️ everyone's got a minimum socialising they need, or they feel weird and bad, and a maximum socialising they can handle, or they feel weird and bad, and it's just about finding your range. Much more useful way of approaching it, I've found
