I started reading this book and I absolutely love it. It’s not my usual genre, but I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. I’m 71% through, and I’m genuinely impressed by how vivid the writing is. Poppy Z. Brite is a gifted writer with excellent storytelling and character development.
