Interesting- yeah I wish I had footage but we did a pretty thorough consult- she wouldn’t realize her dog was behind her until it bit and it was a bite to hold, then harder with shaking and when pulled off continued to try to bite- really upsetting case. Just a puppy too.

Agreed. There was no footage and she decided to bring the puppy back to the shelter. Confident friendly body language think floppy golden- Then when brought inside and told to crate- ears up tail- turned and hard eyes and lunging. No efforts at communication before bites.

I recently had a case that I thought at first was also reactivity/poor inhibition but the behavior was delayed to when the owner’s back was turned, level 4, found an interesting article from animal and strongly suspect it was emotionally triggered predation- wondering if you’ve run into similar..?

I have seen it do some magical things for sure- senior dogs who can barely walk bouncing around like puppies
