Found an absolute unit of toadstool in the back yard.
A multi-lobed toadstool, or possibly a group of seven toadstools that grew close enough to each other that their caps folded under and around each other and it's impossible to see where one ends and another begins.

Chameleon angle #2
The chameleon from the previous skeet, only now the photographer is standing on the other side of the enclosure and can see behind the spray of greenery. The chameleon's right legs and tail are gripping a totally different branch from the one its left legs are gripping, so its body is splayed out in a silly and tenuous-looking pose.

I went to see some animals today. This fish kept giving me side-eye.
Underwater in a reptile habitat, four fish are swimming. At the front of the enclosure, right up against the plexiglass, a blue fish with an orange tail looks like it's staring at the photographer one-eyed with an expression suggesting, "...weirdo."

Arranged on a tabletop, the spoils of my circuit of the local farmer's markets: a bag full of fresh sweet corn, unhusked; another bag full of large field tomatoes; a pint of raspberries; a basket of peaches; and in the centre, a large red onion.

Also at St Joe's, a number of carved apostles with fantastic expressions. For example, behold Judas on the left.

His furrowed-brow expression is the epitome of, "Hm."

Apparently these are called Dame's Rocket. I'd always just thought of them as "pretty ditch flowers". Whatever they're called, my camera could not figure out how to focus on them when I tried to get both colours in the shot.

Had some Shreddies to use up, and caramels left over from Christmas baking, and chocolate chips and salted peanuts in the cupboard, so I experimented with a Shreddies version of Christmas Crack. Verdict: MESSY. But very very good!
