You are exceedingly lucky.

I’m not upset about the bill so to speak but I want to pay for a plan with listed coverage and know if my doctor prescribes it that I can get it without fighting for something I already paid for. In all other industries this is illegal!

It’s just one scenario I’ve had but I’ve had this happen with UHC, BCBS, Ambetter & Aetna

My point was that we need to start fighting to get what we pay for. It’s the only industry where we select a product/service, pay and then they can take our money and deny the deliverable.

We still need people in the room to argue against these idiots from getting rid of necessary stuff. Having no one in the room will only hurt more.

I know it all too well!

I think we should start fixing healthcare by simply making it so what you buy in your plan cannot be denied if a doctor says it’s necessary. And a drug on the approved list should not be denied either. No other industry can do this!

It’s a good place to start!

Mark, how is it legal for an insurance plan to never deliver the amount of services in the plan?

Plan says 30 PT visits.
I use 15 & the remaining get denied for not having an MRI. The MRI was denied by the insurance company. There’s no way to get the remaining PT visits.

HOW IS THIS LEGAL?
