Sounds like you need to do a study study, so that you can study what you need to study so you can study that study to study the study.

Hell, I struggle even with critiques from friends when I do art stuff because like, are they being positive about it because they're nice and they want to be supportive, or because it looks good? Then are they being overly critical to appear not to be just supportive?
