Monet has been a favorite of mine since I was like 8. My mom snuck me out of school in 4th grade to take me to the touring exhibition in SF. Core memory for sure.

I think what has been so cool about some of these interviews is the reminder and grounding that the law is something real and tangible for folks, not just in the realm of politics or in academia. These are humans - not an idea or a theory or a principle.

There are any number of legitimate reasons to use the passive voice, including not knowing who did the action you’re describing, or the whom is more interesting/germane than the who.

Exonerating the Gestapo is not one of those legitimate reasons.
