Didn’t have time to stop but Jo Malone are doing some sort of wheel of fragrant fortune freebie game thingy at St James if you’re down that way and feeling lucky.

I’m not quite sure what Encore on Hope St used to be - downstairs at old Ryan’s Bar? - but I am sure that the cocktails are very nice. I also managed to drink this very nice cocktail from this fancy glass without breaking it, so I’m pleased about that too.

Pulled off a masterful rescue of a borked flat birthday cake by turning it into a chocolate banana split pudding cake and was so proud of my resourcefulness… then the dog swooped in and ruined the whole thing. Wee bugger.
