Why not Paris - Metz -Luxembourg(loc change because, FR)- Trier -Cochem-Cologne-Dusseldorf-Berlin?

The Moselle valley is underrated concerning long distance rail.

I mean, Luxembourg is so central, yet so isolated...

For sure CFL would be interested to help

I really feel sorry for the country and city Luxembourg, no high speed plans (stuck to France), no night trains...
I guess this is why I see plenty of private jets landing in Luxembourg airport.

Too many stops for these desiros, the smell of the brake pads are unbearable. Especially downhill (Zittau/Görlitz - Dresden). The line is too fast for these units.
Trilex could use some units used in Saarbrücken. Newer, higher capacity and can make 140

OBB timetables are already online (better view with OBB Scotty app). One good addition is the railjet departure from Vienna at 05AM. Sadly only ends in Prague.

The RE1 usually runs double set Mannheim -Saarbrücken, single till Trier, then coupled with RE11 from the Luxembourg unit till Koblenz.
Refreshments only between Trier and Koblenz. But I'm kinda keen to see the trolley between Wittlich and Koblenz,. during the Moselle scenic part
