The PMG appears to have taken over the IRA's activities. The organisations were close enough from the start, but after the US sanctions, it was easier to hide "trolls" under the umbrella of the PMG. There is also a screenshot of the "troll" position at the PMG in the supplementary file (4/8)

Like the IRA, PMG was founded shortly before the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war in 2014 and has benefited from the financial crisis that followed by hiring young graduates from St Petersburg universities. The number of employees has been more or less stable since 2018. (3/8)
