Some places reset you.
For me, it was the ferry - watching the Marmara fade and return.
A quiet loop from shore to shore.

On the island, the first thing you do is find yourself.
Usually by listening.
You take in its frequencies - past you carried, the now you’re standing in, future you stop chasing.
Follow trees, trails, wind - and the island starts revealing itself in layers.
That’s where the album began forming.

Arriving on Büyükada after Egypt - the noise stopped, and something quieter began.
I didn’t know what Cornershop Adaları would become, only that the island felt alive.
A mixtape between continents, made of air, sea, and sound.

Cornershop Adaları is here.
Made on Büyükada Island - a continuous, experiential release with no breaks.
It follows wonder, not format.
A story of revival, self-discovery, and being alive in the present.

I hope it finds you.

☀️Light scratches Bucharest awake.
You blink, and it’s already changed again.
Still feels like home - for anyone crossing borders or memory.
Colors hum, corners vibrate, and you can’t help but make something.

☁️ Bucharest feels like a place that remembers you first.
Familiar, but slightly off - no surprise for Moldovans tracing old routes.
Sounds bounce, walls hum, rain cuts the air open.
The city makes space for creation.
You notice. You respond. You make.

11/11.
The signal, the shift, the doorway.
Cornershop returns. 🗓️

In Bucharest, I walked through Victoria Zidaru’s Refacerea - an installation that breathes. Hay, herbs, fabrics, and words form a ritual of renewal. Fragility becomes strength; scent becomes memory. A rare and alive experience. 🌿

From above Nistru River in my hometown Soroca, the Candle of Gratitude honors Moldova’s culture and the heroes who preserved language and history. 🕯️🌎
From this view, town, river, and Ukraine converge - beautiful, complex, unforgettable.

Fifteen years later, back where art lives - the Academy, the theatres, the creative corners of Moldova. 🎭

Chisinau.
I haven’t spent time here in what feels like a lifetime.
This visit, I wanted to see the city through art and culture - to reeaally listen to it.
More of art, life, change, myths, and truths coming soon. Stay tuned.

Summer, vanity, polka dots. A costume, a character, a moodboard in motion. 🌻

Lost track of time, place, and logic… but found art in the chaos.
Moody, messy, flirty - life’s a performance piece anyway.

Back in DC after years away – where diversity feels natural, as it should. Saw the US’s only Da Vinci (Ginevra de’ Benci), Bosch, bugs, sculptures. Heard talks that matter in Ubers. Ended with DC’s best Ukrainian medovyk at Ruta. No pics of that, just go, try it.

Dom Luís I Bridge at midnight - hum, distant seagulls, and the metro Claiming space.
Recorded in 2017.
Later resurfaced on the track Possible Plausible Reversible (2021).
Same bridge, different context.
One shared pulse.

Praza das Praterías.
Late afternoon, Santiago de Compostela.
The bells begin. A gaitero passes.
Pilgrims pause. The plaza becomes a stage.
Bagpipe echoes off centuries of stone.
You don’t need to see it to feel it.

Have you ever heard Sagrada Família?
Whispers under the arches. Footsteps stretching into the sky. City hums through stained glass.
I wasn’t chasing sound - I was trying to keep up with it.

In 2022, I had the honor of spending time with Pyrenean legend Artur Blasco, musician, folklorist, keeper of memory.
We played, laughed, explored archives, and shared stories.
You can hear him on Phonomundi. More posts to come.

Frida’s been with me forever. 🎨
From early art school days to every film, soundtrack, and story, I’ve always seen her as more than an artist. A force that transforms and reclaims.

The VMFA exhibition in Richmond captures her spirit, her fire, her final message: it all lingers.

Crossing from Biarritz to San Sebastián feels like flipping a page in a coastal dream.
Rugged cliffs, wild waters...
The Basque coast is layered with stories - I’ll need to return for a deeper listen.
