Antiflag, antistate, anticarnist, antiwar.
So we vote in a gang of dems, who restore decorum while continuing with basically the same corporatist, militaristic agenda.

When enough people realize their actions don’t match their lofty words, we vote in another straight talking rabble rousing republican.

Rinse and repeat.

If you stop watching US government like it’s a WCW bout, you’ll find more clarity.

It’s one party. We‘re not invited.

Okay, thx. Your self-description is my definition of a contrarian, while the latter fits my definition of an asshole so I see where you’re coming from.

I’ll refollow if you don’t mind.

The suits will always win.

I wish I had your hope. I suspect my childrens’ lives will be far more coarse than mine was.
We will work for better when we can, but sometimes I just hope for a zombie outbreak or la deluge.
December 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Happily, but still curious to see if you can qualify your position. What is your definition of “a contrarian,” pray tell.

Trump is unimaginably bad. Never thought I’d have neighbors afraid to go to the grocery store because of their skin color or accent.

And there’s nothing elite about most of us coastals. Ohio is grand.

Wish I was more of an activist but I’m raising two kids and unemployed.
I voted Green Party my entire life (except Obama I—I was so excited before he betrayed us), but voted PSL last election.
I don’t see promising parties, but the boom in mutual aid I’m seeing around here has to lead to something.

(She may have been intelligent. She certainly wasnt strategic or tactful politically.) I judged her by her fruit as DA and AG of my home state.
She was bad for the working class, PoC, the unhoused, immigrants. Heartless corporatist with infinite marketing budget.
December 12, 2025 at 3:00 PM
People need to stop thinking the failed / compromised corporatist Democratic Party is our lifeline.

The erstwhile party of the people has betrayed its base and we need to place our hopes elsewhere.
December 12, 2025 at 2:56 PM
This anti-contrarian series of yours is a bit bizarre. You’d prefer a world of acquiescent simps?

Common sense, critical thinking, historical Grounding, &c are all so fucked in my country we should be importing contrarians.

A reflexive no is weak maybe, but better than a reflexive yes these days.
December 12, 2025 at 2:53 PM
Those were her only qualifications actually. You are missing the narrative.

Have you not met the Democratic Party before?
December 12, 2025 at 2:49 PM
No platform, no substance, no hesitation on sending bombs, no remorse, “no you’re not code-switching; you’re appropriating black working class culture,” no sense enough to not cook collard greens in the damn bathtub.

Unfortunately I’m not well schooled in urban guerrilla warfare.
Like all Americans, I have no true representation inside the beltway.
December 12, 2025 at 2:46 PM
Yes, it is very much fantasy government.
December 12, 2025 at 2:42 PM
So you fancy fallen women huh?
December 12, 2025 at 2:40 PM
Would you watch Leonard Part 6 without watching the first five?
December 12, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Lovely to see genocide cheerleader Hakeem Jeffries earned Mamdani’s endorsement.
December 12, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Yay, Republicans, party of states rights.

Why do we need to rid Venezuela of their democratically elected leader?
We did this to Morales in Bolivia, Allende in El Salvador, and on and on.

In imperialist media you gotta look out for words that demonstrate the source is full of shit: terrorist, regime, dictator, antisemitic, etc.

Wristcutters was pretty sick.

Japanese military is pretty laughable.
