I feel like I need to post this. Own who I was 20 years ago. This little time capsule that has survived on GameFAQs for two decades. I was an unironic leet-speaking twisted spork of d00mer. It is cringe but it is me.

I really like all the new variant designs yautja are getting but I kinda hope we can see the original design alongside new ones in an upcoming project. Variants rock, but that OG design is timeless and, imo, pretty close to perfect. Idk just a little bit of regrounding, is all.

Say what you will of the film's shortcomings, I can't find any of them in scenes depicting Adam and his tormented little life. Beautifully depicted vulnerability, tenderness, yearning for love, fear, pain, and rage.

While I'm here ranking: Alien Isolation perfected the design. I love every single thing about it. So few interpretations have understood the deliberate awkwardness of Bolaji Badejo's original performance. It gave an amazingly unique life to the xenomorph. And Isolation brought it all in. Perfection.

Personally I would still say the xeno from Covenant is my least favorite design. Did not like the rubber muscles and lack of mechanoid fusion with the organic elements.

I can't say I love it but I don't think I hate it that much either. Kinda like the intent here - diversifying the design without a "reason" or major lore. Just different because it is.
