Your shining idol siren has arrived !!
Animatronics can live even without their frontal lobe, but to give life to metal you have to gift it. That is who Mike and Jeremy are. A son created by his father to replace the one he lost. A son who goes around tampering with the victims with the foul odor of the corpse powering his endoskeleton

Metal as a living organism. Animatronics have become delicate instruments of his inventions which demonstrate the indivisible unity of all life. Is a nervous system really so different from their endoskeletons? Love, hate, joy, fear, pleasure, pain, excitability, stupor; what truly counts as living?

So what's in the box? The creator's greatest creation. The culmination of all his work. The most lifelike animatronic he's ever made. Mike Schmidt.

But the final scenes of the game also talk about putting something together. The child is told by a voice who is presumably his father that "You're broken" and told that he will put him back together, just like pieces of a puzzle. I think we're meant to view both as one and the same.

The murderer had been defeated by a puppet containing the soul of his first victim and a shadow containing the soul of the son he lost that started everything.

The second were endoskeletons that only came out when it was dark. When they arrived gas would enter causing whoever saw them to hallucinate and see them as the monsters they feared most. They wouldn't be able to sneak out or run away from home with this in place. He would keep them safe this time.

The father overheard this too. He didn't care much about his child's delusions but he still wished to keep them safe so that neither ended up like his daughter. But he created two ways to keep his children out of trouble. The first were plush animatronics that could entertain and keep track of them.

But why? And how? That I can only speculate. So let me paint you all a picture. A picture of the tragedy of Five Nights at Freddy's. The true events that spiraled into decades of terror and misery. Proof that it was never a dream but four games. All connected. One story.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
We even see this with Nightmare. Walking proof that these creatures have endoskeletons. But also proof that there's more than meets the eye with them. That translucent body is a faded hallucination showing us the truth underneath. The monsters in the dark are real. They've been real the whole time.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
So much of FNAF 4 ties into this idea that what we see isn't necessarily true. From the shadows to the nightmares, even the trailer itself asks us directly what we think we see almost as though it's a question for both the protagonist and ourselves! Is anything that we've been seeing really... real?
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
If this is the case then it's possible that the kid has come to believe that the characters come to life at night and nobody finds the bodies because they're hidden inside. It's this fear that causes the bullying and the nightmares that come, ultimately dooming him to his cruel fate.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
In order to solve this piece of the puzzle I'm going to refer back to the GTLive hints. The second one was “What is seen in shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child.” What the kid saw may have just been an employee being put into a springlock suit that's in suit mode.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
But what is it that the child witnessed? I considered that the child may have witnessed one of the murders but it doesn't really add up in the timeline. It was shown that the killer's first murder was done out of costume and every other had to have been done after the springlocks were retired.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
It's possible that whatever the child witnessed is something he's being bullied over. After being told about it his brother started pranking him and taunting him over this. If the kid is afraid of people being in the suits then maybe his brother started wearing masks because of it.

The Fredbear & Friends cast are friends. The child loves them. But we see time and time again that the child is terrified of the springlock suits. This kid saw something that has caused fear and paranoia, believing that unless he runs he'll be caught and something terrible will happen as a result.

Considering we only see the Springlocks during this time I think that these toys are the inspiration behind the toy animatronics that get made later. Similarly I think the plushies are the inspiration behind the original animatronics. They likely originated as characters from Fredbear & Friends.

So let's address all of these "easter eggs" and "red herrings" then. The obvious one to begin with is toy chica's beak. The beak being removed is a clear parallel to Toy Chica from FNAF 2. Similarly we find a taken apart Foxy toy which parallels what would later be referred to as The Mangle.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
The first hint asks the question "Why would the tiny toy chica be missing her beak?" which Scott emailed Dawko about prior to the hint's appearance on the site. We heard about Dawko wanting to get back on stream at 1:13:07 which means this was potentially in response to something said prior.

So what important event happened before FNAF 2 that FNAF 4 may have been created to explain? The retiring of the springlock suits. Multiple simultaneous springlock failures caused by the tears and thrashing about of a child. Boom. FNAF has been solved. Bridget out.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
First off, let's address the timeline. We know that FNAF 4 takes place in 1983, meaning it is the earliest game in the timeline at this point. FNAF 2 takes place in 1987 and takes place before the original. FNAF 3 would then be placed at the very end 30 years after.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
Then finally in FNAF 3 we find out that the murderer of the children, now possessing a Spring Bonnie suit, was sealed away in a safe room. Later on he was discovered and ends up in Fazbear’s Fright which later burns down potentially due to faulty wiring with foul play not entirely ruled out.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
In FNAF 2 however we learn that there were newer animatronics tied to a criminal database that got scrapped. There's also a puppet animatronic possessed by a child murdered at Fredbear's Family Dinner. Fredbear's is shutdown due to the murder while the FNAF 2 location closes due to the Bite of '87.
November 18, 2025 at 6:05 AM
Let's start by going over what we know. Five children were lured into the back room at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza by someone dressed as one of the animatronics. These five children would go on to possess Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and a gold colored suit after their bodies were hidden inside them.
