It makes me think of that 90s movie The Last Supper where uni students invited people to dinner and poisoned the wine, then buried them in the garden beds. Their tomatoes were exceptional.

Chill pre-dawn is lighting the chink in the curtains. Magpies, the first to stir, are warbling in the gums. My smallest child is asleep beside me.

The 2023 protests show they don't support Netanyahu trying to implement his very own Enabling Act, making him absolute ruler.
Since then he has ramped up the violence and rhetoric re Palestine: the Enemy within (he considers occupied territory to be within), and now has sought an Enemy without.

When a frog realises its being slowly boiled and so jumps into the fire, hoping escape ..

I think this is why USA has Trump.

A person in the US must work 80 hours per week to not be below the poverty line.

The next highest OECD country is Latvia at 53 hours. Japan is just 14.

You told me Novovax wasn't approved in your country?

It's literally one of the 3 recommended options for people 12-64 years old.

We, as the international community, bear a lot of responsibility.

As with Afghanistan, we were very keen to oust what we ideologically disapprove of: but didn't do the work to ensure a stable and safe replacement.

While it is trending down now, the violence continued to increase for years post-A

Kids are so cool. We were walking from the car to the playground and never made it because little one spent an entire hour examining gumnut blossums
