I remember reading #TheIllustratedMum many years ago! So it felt so nostalgic reading #PictureImperfect from #JacquelineWilson to revisit the characters from my childhood now as adults! Such a beautiful, sympathetic and tender depiction of #mentalillness.

For anyone looking for a book that has authentic and relatable #chronicillness and #disability representation then I thoroughly recommend #TheChemistryTest. I am almost half-way through and am loving it. So many of the situations/thoughts/comments are ones I too have experienced

What a phenomenon! And thank you DisneyPlus for sharing this with us. I would love to physically see the show, but cannot due to ill health and disability. But for nearly two hours tonight I was transported to Arendelle and forgot about #chronicillness for a while! Pure magic!🪄

I might have finished this a couple of days ago, but it’s one I’m still thinking about. #ToExistAsIAm by @gracespencegreen.bsky.social is a powerful, life-affirming book and is a beautiful testament to the resilience and strength of the #disability community. Must-read book!

And today I can’t quite believe I’ve seen the beautiful statue of #TheLittleMermaid for myself in #Copenhagen! It might be on the small side but still I found it magical, beautiful and inspiring. Definitely a bucket list moment. And a win for me over my #illness!

If you know me, you’d know that I absolutely love and adore #sausagedogs! #Dachshunds are the truly sweetest and loveliest souls! So, I absolutely love my new sausage dog #scarf!! It’s adorable and has really cheered me up after my scary fall last week! #ChronicLife

Exciting News! An #essay I have written is going to be published in January! I’m featured in FND Stories: Personal and Professional Experiences of Functional Neurological Disorder. Such an important book highlighting this poorly understood condition and raising much needed awareness
