Baristas aren’t asking for anything unreasonable. We simply want higher take-home pay, better hours, stronger protections, and an end to union busting.
It’s been months since Starbucks has offered us a serious contract proposal. Until they do, we’ll continue to escalate!

yes, so much this. there are some instances where I know I'm going to need to pause most "productive" things to tend to my healing self. like, I'll need a few days of going really slow to recover. fucking PROTECT THE CHILDREN

at 15, 16, 17 it was very common for men in their late 20s and early 30s to hit on me and, even worse, to take me up on it if I was drunk and wanted to hook up. I was a child. they were scum.
