The main combo you wanna use is tap skill, charge attack (tapping normal attack works too), and then plunge

The first time you do this combo after she enters the field, it puts her in her enhanced state, so the second time you do this, her plunge will do the big pp damage

I caught the big boy twice and didn't get the highest score either, but I think it did count for the reward. I still don't really know how the game is supposed to work
