Im really proud of this. And I'm working on flexing the muscle of sharing my work. Vs holding it for months and then sharing.

Has anyone read this? I started it a few days ago and she uses Persephone as an example. I think it went over my head. Help.

There’s something sacred about the poppy flower.

From the same pod that offers seeds for nourishment,

Comes the sap that births morphine, codeine, and heroin.
The poppy teaches us something vital:

Don’t water yourself down.

Be like the poppy—gentle and beautiful, helpful and deadly.

I feel like I'm in a weird slump. Low energy. Slow moving. But I cleaned up my art space yesterday and sketched a commission I recieved.

So maybe I'm moving at the exact speed I need to be.

Has anyone read this? It's so sad!!!

I finished it in a day. So good.

Im loving these less than 300-page reads. They are perfect for quick dopamine hits.

Isn't it wild that Dandelions are considered weeds. A flower with word ‘lion’ in it…designated as something to be plucked and extracted like a virus?

A flower that grows between the cracks of concrete.

I stay started a new painting! I have 1 close to finished and 2 in the beginning stages.

Waiting for oils to dry enough has been the biggest learning curve but it brings so much more time into my life
