I've been stressed and anxious (I have anxiety disorder) that I haven't been able to be intimate with my gf. We work around that, and hopefully, when I have things under control, that will change.

I do hope someone helps him understand if he doesn't. Fear and lack of awareness are factors that I wish were discussed more and normalised.

He should at least try therapy if that's the case. Instead, he's not seeking help or communicating his issue and shutting down. It could also be he just isn't interested in the responsibility after trying it. We really don't know what's really behind his behaviour.

Gag. 10 years apart is a stretch, but like 18 or 19? That's predatory. And the power imbalance is a worry, too. This guy needs to stay far away from *teenagers*. Just because they're of legal age does not mean partnering up with them! He wants complete control, hence the age difference.
