Als je met systematische tekorten zit, is dat soms nog de enige optie.
Ik weet dat ze bij De Lijn vaak een (kleine) buffer tussen grote ritten hebben, maar dat wordt ook aanzien als de pauze/rusttijd van de chauffeur.
Gevolg: vertraging (file) > geen/minder pauze > druk om snel te rijden

I assume many hope to later be able to refinance the mortgage to either shorten it or (what probably most will opt for) drop the interest rate?

The idea of at least owning something to pass along to the next generation is what drives most people, I assume.
They forget their budget is stuck, and there's things like renovations (more loans) that will need to happen in those 40y to at least maintain its value.

9 op 10 zijn ze gewoon weer dure lokale jobs aan het vervangen door goedkope outsource-profielen zodat ze hun tegenvallende cijfers wat kunnen opkrikken (kost van AI blijft stijgen terwijl inkomsten uit blijven).
