Cut out some pieces to fit on the head base and they came in oversized, so there's something wrong with the way I generated the pattern.

Cut out some pieces to fit on the head base and they came in oversized, so there's something wrong with the way I generated the pattern.

I was wondering why my mouse wasn't working.
Finally got around to testing using interfacing on faux fur. I used poplin between the iron and the interfacing/fur and it seems to work great!
This was using my normal iron and a bit difficult to maneuver. Gonna try my leather iron next time.

I think I might need to rest earlier today, been staying up really late to play hitman. But today, first look at generating a pattern from the head.

Fussed around with various rosette layouts today, liking this one, gonna sleep on it. And the blue section of the tail from last night!

TIL: There is a shank on my button #sewing foot that needs to be pulled back for normal buttons. I've been using it engaged, resulting in buttons that are not tightly attached to the fabric. GAH!

Worked on connecting the toes to my foot model. Also made the ankles more pronounced.

Think I'm done with the pattern for now, very good mobility at the ankle with the dual gussets.

So today I'm getting started on the leggings, and experimented with adding a crotch gusset. That really helped with squatting down!
Not going to use this though, have issues with it and have come up with a different idea.

Added a gusset to the elbow section and it works a treat! Alot more mobility. Gonna call this pattern done for now.

Been working on the upper body pattern the last few days, learnt lots about how to get mobility at the shoulder. Now looking at improving/shaping the mobility at the elbow.

Tweaked the thumb and have much better range of motion. Added in a slit to be velcro'd shut, so I can fit my hand in.

Still trying to figure out a pattern for the handpaws. The fingers are pretty good now, but the thumb eh, range of motion could be better. Back to the drawing board.
