Great review of a great album. And good to hear Ainleys get a mention - the first album I ever purchased (in fact the first 20+) came from there.

Ok, but the announcement does say ‘currently reviewing’ not ‘intending to review at some point in the future’ and updates in terms of clarification or progress has been lacking.

To be fair they only announced the review was happening in 2021. So it’s only been four and a half years.

Tho as ever the ‘equivalent’ part of ‘600mm equivalent’ is the angle of view not the magnification.

Amazing given not that many years ago the very idea of seeing Wilson’s Petrel from the mainland was fanciful.
