Sorry, this shit drives me up the wall. I've got people I love trapped back there still, good fucking people that grew up just like I did. We're not different or special or wiser or stronger, we just didn't ditch our common fuckin decency. People aren't any different just cause they're rural ffs

If you've got sympathy for the "humble farm boy that doesn't know any better" you're a fucking mark. They could give a shit, they could have empathy, they chose to get rid of it and bury it in bigotry. It's not a matter of luck or wisdom. They *want* to be like that, cause it sure ain't the default.

I'm trying to free up time to catch it in theaters, I've heard excellent things!
