Venäjän totalitaarisessa järjestelmässä gallupit ja kyselyt voivat antaa melko harhaista tulosta. Todennäköisesti iso osa kansalaisista vastaa, kuten tietää vallanpitäjien haluavan. Näin ei joudu vankilaan vääristä mielipiteistä.
