Been seeing the Women's Marches in France, the UK, and Canada - people literally filling the streets almost solid from wall-to-wall and stretching for blocks and blocks ... Americans saying 'sorry' and saying "we didn't vote for this" ... all well and good BUT 1/3 of you sat by and did nothing while 1/3 *did* vote for this ... and now you're 'sorry' and don't know what to do? ... FILL THE STREETS all across the country - coast to coast, north to south - in numbers so strong and voices so loud the media **can't** ignore you BE HEARD ... don't be "sorry" DO SOMETHING the government is supposed to work FOR the people ... not "rule" them the White House is NOT Donald Trump's house, it's The People's House! Don't stand by and do nothing while he's quite literally putting out the welcome mat for Putin Canadians **don't** want to be part of the [divided] States ... do /you/ want to be Russian ?

For as long as Trump occupies the White House - and until democracy is truly restored - every U.S. flag, everywhere, should be flown at half-mast and inverted. Half-mast for the death of democracy. Upside down because we are /all/ in very real and immediate danger. This entire administration is a nightmare. A farce. And it is dangerous ... not just for Ukraine, but for the world. Trump and his enablers are actively dismantling the United States and every democratic principle it once stood for. Even now, I hear our other leaders speaking of "appeasing" this man ... as if he can be reasoned with. As if he hasn’t already proven, again and again, that he is a threat to everything we hold dear. Anyone still clinging to the idea that Trump can be appeased is either blind or complicit. He can NOT be trusted. Make no mistake ... Trump isn’t just “gambling with WWIII". He is actively pushing for it. These traitors need to be stripped from office, the States needs a complete reset - it’s way passed time for people to STAND UP and DO SOMETHING .

Can confirm it's having unfortunate affects ... I have been to the Life Labs here at *least* once a year (it's been closer to 3-4) for various reasons ... bloodwork etc I've had to go three times just in the last week, for dropping off paperwork, getting bloodwork, and then going back for additional tests This last week is the FIRST TIME I've *ever* heard these words from the nurses to patients checking in: "I'm sorry, this [portion of ordered tests] aren't going to be covered and are listed as billed direct - it's going to cost [this amount] - do you wish to proceed or would you like to remove that portion [of listed testing requests] and discuss other options with your doctor?" When I asked about it, I was told they're not really supposed to talk about it, but that it didn't have anything to do with the Canadian Health Care - they said that people could still submit their receipts to insurance and request reimbursement. Chris Kluwe has been outspoken for years about social justice issues, so it’s not surprising that he’s protesting—but what is concerning is how quickly and aggressively police responded. From the report, it sounds like he was arrested for essentially speaking out against Trump during a public city council meeting. Even if there were procedural rules about staying on-topic, the optics of arresting a former NFL player (or anyone, really) for anti-Trump speech in a supposedly open forum is chilling. It ties right into the broader pattern we’ve been watching: authoritarian regimes don’t like dissent. They use law enforcement not for public safety, but for silencing critics. It’s a classic move—first, they paint protesters as “disruptive” or “lawbreakers,” then use that as an excuse for harsher crackdowns. This isn’t just about Kluwe, either. The fact that people are getting arrested at local government meetings for criticizing the administration should be setting off alarm bells. Today, it’s a well-known activist. Tomorrow? It could be anyone who dares to speak against those in power.

Just when will enough be enough for these people? ... as an individual, Trump has literally NO POWER except for what the people are *allowing* him to have. What will it take to put an end to this lunacy? How can there be so many willfully blind, power hungry, money grubbing, hateful people out there supporting him and enabling these things to happen?

So I scoured Google for donkey pics & compiled as many as I could from different angles

After much trial and error this is the result ❤️

I couldn’t find a suitable donkey pattern *anywhere* … anything I could find online were cartoonish, keychain, or Eeyore (there’s nothing wrong with any of those - just not what I had in mind) So I scoured Google for donkey pictures and compiled as many as I could from different angles and ages and types - etc And after much trial and error, and stitching / frogging (undoing) / restitching … notes, scribbles , more notes —- rinse and repeat 😀 This is what I managed. 🤗 Now I just have to interpret my chicken scratch notes and post-its and see if I can assemble it into something I can repeat! 🫣🤭 and once again, those DarkSide Crochet eyes just add that extra little 😘🤌l Custom by Request This fellow was a challenge!
