Chronically ill (CVID, adrenal insufficiency, autoimmune diseases, and the rest), sometimes a maker of things…
A brief web search reveals that love birds, while not exactly "delightful" without feathers, do not seem to have this degree of transformation.

A relative texted me this screenshot about “attention seeking” re medical problems. It reminded me of the second quote, about children.

“Attention seeking” is such a dreadful concept.

Children should seek connections actually.

Patients should seek medical attention as needed.

I had this exact thing happen with Medicare a few weeks ago: multiple lesions addressed on one arm and all items had to be manually processed. Must chase that up!

Oh how fun. After a few months off, I seem to have resumed this long term game of “Is it RSV? Is it flu B? Or possibly even Flu A?… is it nothing?… let’s play again tomorrow…

My child sends me this post… with the comment they don’t have to imagine because they’re living it.

When I was done I had this problem (binders ridiculously over full). So I moved the pouches to a box, which I had not liked the idea of, and it was much better.

Seen on my drive to hospital today (different hospital).

It’s not just St Vincent’s Private…

Patients want safe staffing too… I haven’t felt safe in some time.

The sink in my hospital room. This is not the first time I have seen this sticker in this room.

Where is infection control?! I know they’re not busy ensuring masks & air filters. But surely ensuring clean sinks is their bread & butter?

The levels of cluelessness this sticker reveals is just 🤯🤯🤯

As I race to get this finished, or at least done enough to show my mother for Christmas… if not actually done. I realized that it’s unexpectedly Christmasy, at least in this photo 😂

1) the nurse assisting with my cannula put non sterile tape over my cannula insertion point. This tape is supposed to go over the bung, not touch the insertion area, which should be covered by the sterile tegaderm.

When I say non sterile: I’ve been carrying this tape in my handbag for months.

I have repeatedly had respiratory PCRs done while testing RAT postive and they've all been negative for all the viruses covered by the PCR (always covid, RSV & flu, sometimes also a more extended panel).
