If have tried to look if there was confirmation of him going to China, but did not find anything. I also looked for mails regarding any other personal meeting on that week, but found nothing sent from a blackberry

Going to the mails of May 11th 2009, we find the following mail, where the name is no longer redacted:
www.justice.gov/epstein/file...

Thus, the redacted person could be Peter Mandelson, a member of the House of Lords in the UK.

So I went to May to look for mails with similar characteristics. On the 1st May we have the following mail:
www.justice.gov/epstein/file...
In which a redacted source using a blackberry phone plans a meeting with Epstein for the 11th or 12th of May, that would be Monday or Tuesday of the second week

The important pieces of this file are that Epstein and the redacted person are planning to meet on the 2nd week of may. That is Epstein who initiated the conversation (thus, it was someone close to him). And that the redacted person is using a blackberry phone

Ireland, Slovenia and the Netherlands. Although for the Netherlands, I think it has more to do with their candidate being kicked out for a conflict with the Israeli delegation in the last year, than the genocide

I am from Spain and our leftist party got their best results by going on right wing media spaces. As long as there is not a strong leftist media ecosystem, going to right wing spaces is the only option we have. Taylor Lorenz was right by going on Destiny, Mehdi was right for going on Jubilee.

It started with the talks about how Jubilee was bad after Mehdi Hasan went there and he had to debate a bunch of fascists. Yes, it is bad to give fascist a platform, but Mehdi brilliantly exposed them and the left could not take the win.

I did not want to undermine your work on progressive causes by implying you are not progressive enough or something like that.

I am just worried that democrats are once again failing to meet the moment with regards to a progressive wing that feels increasingly alienated with the party.

Mehdi Hasan's response, asking Republicans why they did not condemn political violence when Democrats were killed is the right one, in my humble opinion
September 10, 2025 at 10:40 PM
I could condemn it if it was politically beneficial, but they are blaming us no matter what we say, so the least I can do is not alienate the leftist who are actually happy it happened.

First, the fact that I am not supporting it, just cannot bring myself to care about it.
Second, the fact that they are who started the polarization that led to this.
September 10, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Knowing if it had been a leftist, they would be supporting whoever had done it, I cannot bring myself to feel sorry for them.

I'll just share a comment I just saw:

Israel attacking journalist? Color me surprised

If he had mention it, the news would have been that Bernie justifies the attack. He does not have the freedom to speak his mind that we have.
