I understand. As I cannot draw my stories tend to ebb and flow. I've got one major story that has been rewritten so much that it's pretty much on hold. However if you have to stop and the world demands more, that is just as good a sign as a fully finished and enjoyed tale.

Easy question to ask on if you should continue.

1: Is there a negative to showing your work?

If the answer is "no" then always go forward. You can only improve and if it something you enjoy then you should do it for yourself.

Put down what you know. Then like a skeleton lay the bones of the areas you want to go to or that need to go between finished moments. Then you can put meat on the bones for that remaining part. Sort of like a flow chart.

Remember to get the idea down first. That's the hardest part. Then you can expand, fine-tune and fix as needed.
