東北地方に伝わる子どもの姿の妖怪。棲みつかれた家は栄え、去った家は衰えるといわれています。

Zashiki-warashi is a childlike spirit from the Tōhoku region. A house it dwells in is said to prosper, while one it leaves falls into decline.
